The INetRail Division of Industrial Networks provides data-collection and yard management solutions for short line and Class I railroads, railcar repair shops, and railcar service companies. Our INetRail Mobile™ App is home to multiple functions to better manage and increase the efficiency of your rail operations. These functions and their features include:
Inspect
• The Inspect function of the app is designed to streamline the railcar inspection process. Existing inspection forms are uploaded into the application, and users can scan the railcars AEI tag and perform assigned inspections. Once completed, forms are wirelessly uploaded and can be accessed at any time.
Spotting
• The Spotting function ensures that railcars are on the correct spots within your facility. Once the AEI tag and specially programmed RFID tags are scanned the information linked to that railcar ID is uploaded wirelessly. This function of the application increases productivity and improves turnaround time by completely automating data input.
Inventory
• The Inventory function is used to accurately sequence railcars across tracks and yards by scanning each railcars AEI Tags. This function eliminates manual entry of information and allows for powerful visibility of your railcars location. Another feature of this application is the ability to accurately build an outbound railcar list for easy EDI to the railroads.
Switch List
• Switch List keeps track of the location of railcars and handles acceptable and rejectable requests. The railcar’s information will be displayed for the user to make that decision.
Tag Verify
• Tag Verify utilizes UMLER to determine the most accurate information of railcars and compares it to the details of a preprogrammed tag. If there is a discrepancy in the information, the user will be notified to correct any issues.
Seals
• The Seals function of the application increases accuracy and efficiency of acquiring security seal IDs. Once the AEI tag is scanned the information collected is immediately uploaded, eliminating the need to physically write down or manually enter seals IDs.
